Weighted bait keepers help keep the bottom of your bait down, and the hook tip oriented in an upward position when casting and retrieving, resulting in less line twist, fewer fouled leaders, and superior hooksets.

Designed to be used with the Battlestar Soft Candy Perch Bait which is only 1.18" long (30mm), so we created our own 20mm short shank perch bait hook. The short shank with wide gap results in a fully inhaled perch bait and deep hookset. Another Battlestar Tackle product designed for performance in surf fishing.

The silver finish is coated red, leaving a shiny silver hook tip, for extra detail and attraction.
